Meet Bente, Head of Upcycling at Nørklerne in Rødovre
We retrieve and assess fabric and trim samples as part of our creative process when designing and developing our products. To avoid these materials going to waste, we donate them to Nørklerne, where they are reused and upcycled.

Bente is an impressive woman of 87 years who has been a Nørkler for 16 years and a team leader for 14!

Nørklerne is a group of primarily elderly women who meet once a week to sew, knit, and mend our leftover fabric and trim into childrenswear.

Nørklerne are located all over Denmark. Our Nørkler team meets up in Rødovre, Copenhagen, where their team leader Bente lives.
